Where shall I start?? I have always had the desire to write. When I was a teenager, I wanted to be an author, write novels about big adventures, love, fights, kingdoms, dragons and knights! A sort of "Game of Thrones" or "Lord of the Rings" saga (yes, I'm a BIG FAN); who knows? if I let my imagination fly, I might write my own big story one day. DREAM BIG they say! My mum always said that I was a dreamer (but I'm not the only one ;). "Jihanne, Queen of the seven Kingdoms" would be a great title for my book 😜😎
To be honest, I don't know where it will take me, and I feel a bit weird sharing my thoughts, ideas and doubts in here, but I have a feeling that this is the right thing to do. What people will say? Will they like what I do? My coach always says: "follow your heart and take action". So I am doing it, as I have done it for quite a while now. I feel a bit nervous, but that's a good sign that I am getting out of my comfort zone; and this is where you grow isn't it?
I used to have a diary from 13 years old to 23 years old, but rarely wrote in it between 19 and 23. It should be hidden somewhere in a big box, ; or I might have binned it a few years ago, not sure. I don't care now, it is the past, and I am here, in 2018, an older me, more experienced and wise, or at least I like to think I am.
But first thing first! After deep thinking, I have decided to start a blog. I think it is a perfect beginning for me to get used to write, share my tips about fitness, healthy eating, mummy life, hobbies, travels, thoughts, successes and struggles, maybe fiction too; I will let it come as it is and do as I feel. Time will tell me where I should stick.
French or English?? Would be easier for me to write in French but since I have been living in London for 11 years, better to start in English; I will do my best but will probably make many mistakes along the way (sorry if you are reading those words and you have noticed some mistakes, I am doing my best). As my mentor says: practice, practice, perfection comes with it.
So let's do it baybay, just finishing my first post and I can't wait to write the next one!!!
